As Casas de Unzó is a children’s and young adult book written by Ciano and published by Editora Jandaíra. A delicate narrative, filled with poetry and depth, it speaks to childhood without underestimating it, while also reaching adult readers. The illustrations were created by Maribê in collaboration with Ciano himself, in an exchange where text and image grew in dialogue. They accompany the story as a second voice: rather than simply describing it, they open space for the imaginary and draw readers in not only through the narrative, but also through its visual universe.
